Downhill Trips

At loughborough there is a big downhill community and we are all keen to get out riding as much as possible. During the winter there are trips every three weeks, depending on the number of downhillers with trips increasing with the number of downhillers subcribed to the LSCC. When the summer finally comes around the number of trips increases with trips every couple of weeks and wednesday afternoon trips when the days get longer.

Where do we go?

Cannock Chase

Our closest decent downhill spot is cannock Chase trails. The trails vary massivly from melow to technical to freeride, it is a popular destination for the LSCC because it a quick 50 minute drive up the M1 and it is always a good day out.

Hamsterely

The Hamsterely trails are fantastic to ride and an uplift service can be organised on demand.

Moelfre

Every year there is a weekend downhill trip to Moelfre ( A popular National track), where we organise an uplift service for both saturday and sunday.

Wharnecliffe

The famous wharnecliffe woods is another popular riding spot and is only a quick drive up the m1 away.
