Welcome to Loughborough Students Cycling Club

On behalf of Loughborough Students we would like to congratulate you on gaining your place at Loughborough University and hopefully we can help you get the most out of your ‘Loughborough Experience’. The committee have been working hard over the summer months planning a full line up of events in both the 1st and 2nd semester.

We fully understand you may have some questions you wish to ask about the club before you arrive in Loughborough, this page should hopefully answer most of your questions. Please check out theFreshers FAQ- so committee members are not answering the same questions, put please feel free to contact me (chair@lsu-cycling.co.uk) or any other committee members for any other questions.

If you do not read all these pages – just take one piece of advice: Bring your bike with you when you come to Loughborough!  You can keep your bike in your room if you are staying in halls if you are a member of LSCC (or are going to join!)

The club has a meeting on 10th October 2011 for new and returning members to tell them about everything that will be going on during 2011 – 2012, it is vital that if you are a new member you come along to this short meeting.

Who Does LSCC Cater For?

We cater for a number of different disciplines Road, TT, XC, DH and Track – so if you are interested in any of these disciplines LSCC is the club to join!

You may think that everyone at Loughborough competes at National and International level, but that is simply not the case. The club caters for all abilities from members who compete at a national and international level through to members who simply want to go out for a one hour social ride.

The weekly rides cater for both social riding and people who want to race.
