Track

Reaching speeds in excess of 52mph, diving down wooden banking’s of 45^o on a bike with no brakes and a fixed gear. Does this sound like something you would be interested in trying?LSCC is currently working exceptionally hard to give its members the opportunity to have a go at cycling in another of its many exciting forms.

It has been the wish of many involved in LSCC to raise the profile of the exciting sport of Track Racing at Loughborough University for some time. There aren’t many sports that this University doesn’t excel in, however Track cycling is one where we are lagging behind slightly and we at LSCC have been working tirelessly this summer to lay the groundwork of the infrastructure needed to ensure success in the future.

Introductory Sessions

Could you be the next Sir Chris Hoy, or could there be another Victoria Pendleton in our midst, the only way to find out is to come along to one of LSCC’s discounted track trips this semester to see if you have what it takes to bring Loughborough’s track cycling up to our exceptional standards.
